Whether you are sending a save the dates, by mail or email, make sure you include the full date (Month Day Year) as well as the city and state.
June 28 in Nashville can be interpreted as July 28, 2012 in Nashville, TN. That would be fine if the wedding wasn't really July 28, 2011 in Nashville, IL. Don't assume your guest will know what you meant.
